Having worked at the centre of political decision-making, I’ve seen how the system operates and where people are often left behind.
This project is about making democracy clearer, more accessible, and something people feel able to engage with beyond just election time.

Having spent a significant part of my career in the UK Civil Service, I'm firmly of the belief that sound, workable policies for governance are achievable but only when the views of all stakeholders are taken onboard. Participation of ordinary people in the democratic process can truly change lives. We need to help people understand how and why they should re-engage with democracy if they want to help transform the communities they live in for the better.
